Fox was definitely dreamy in The Servant. Huge crush.

Thanks for your blog comments David! Fox and Delon are both super dreamy and I’m always happy to come across anyone who agrees with me. ;)

Thank you, Cinebeats. Great site and super info on James Fox. What a wonderful talent he is! (And adorable!) He is my favorite of the family, but I do also love Edward and Laurence. Also Joanna David - isn’t she Mrs. Edward? Haven’t seen Emilia yet, but probably great, too.

Thanks again for so much hard work!

Nice info, but you missed some of his other aclaimed work in A Passage to India. Thought you might have mentioned that?

Thanks, but if you read carefully you’ll see that I wrote: “Within the past 25 years he’s shown that he’s still capable of taking on complex roles in films that examine sexual identity and class structure. Some interesting examples of this include…” When I used the word “some” I thought it would clearly indicate that I was just choosing to single out a couple of his later films at the end of my piece. I had no intention of listing every single film Fox was in with similar themes. British cinema often deals with issues of class and James Fox has been in a lot of good films since his return to acting. The focus of this piece was obviously on the earlier half of his career.
