I think I would like The Crate segment of Creepshow better if the if the crate shown on the poster of Una Paragina had been found under the stairs instead. It certainly would have made the Wilma/Billie scene more interesting.

That kind of book is gift to obsessive photo scanners like myself and the price seems pretty reasonable to boot. Of course, I’ll look for it at my usual second-hand haunts first.

    I love Contact!

La Bise Aux Hippies is another favourite.

Love and peace, Kimberly, i guess you know already the much missed Pizzicato Five sampled the sublime Contact, and the mysteriously vanished The Gentle People mixed it in cosmic grandeur, track available in Pizzicato´s Combinaison Espaciale. Best.

What a wonderful package! Thanks very much for taking time to provide more information on this CD release.I’m certain I would never had heard of it otherwise, so another item added to my wants list. Worth buying for Delerue alone, and the booklet sounds awesome.

I’m having trouble with my blog comments lately so apologies to anyone else is having problems writing or reading them!

Jonathan - I can barely remember Creepshow but I think the crate bit was one of the best things about the movie. As for the Bardot book/CD, it has a lot of great images! I really need to replace my old broken scanner soon.

Ambilito - Bardot recorded a lot of great songs!

Sergio - Thanks, Sergio! Indeed I did read that somewhere before. If you visit me over at lasfm.com. you’ll discover that I’m a big P5 fan. They’re fantastic! :)

Steve - I hope you get the chance to pick up a copy for yourself. It’s a really nice package!

I own Initiale BB which is quite a nice set, but this one looks fabulous. Thanks for the heads up.
