This movie seriously sounds terrific. Those pictures are enough to convince me that this movie is total tops.

Thanks for the interesting write-up Kimberly. FYI… I found a copy of the movie (in segments) on YouTube at the following link:

I’m watching the movie as I write this. Indeed, it is a very black horror comedy.

Rhea - Glad you liked the post. I hope you get the opportunity to see the film soon.

Mike - Thanks for sharing that link! I only hope it won’t deter Code Red from releasing a nice (hopefully widescreen) print of the film on DVD. At least it gives some people the opportunity to see it if they want to. Hope you enjoyed the movie!

Kimberly - Yes, I enjoyed the movie very much. It definitely has elements of Lolita & Baby Jane as you referenced above. I chuckled often to the British sixties style of humor. It lacked a bit in the horror department but the family was definitely dysfunctional in an eerie way. Girly was a real cutie and a tease at the same time. The YouTube presentation was not in widescreen and of mediocre quality but it will still gave viewers a truthful taste of the movie. I would definitely add it to my DVD collection. It sure beats watching network or cable TV!!! Thanks again for the heads up on the movie. I enjoy your blog very much. Much continued success to you and Happy Halloween to you & your many followers.

I’ve been eyeballing this on 5mtl.com for a while, now that I know it has your seal of approval I’m anticipating it even more! I’m think I’ll try and hold out a little longer for that Code Red release though :-D

Caroline - I’m glad I’ve encouraged you to give Girly a look. Hopefully you enjoy it as much as I do. If I hear any more news about the Code Red DVD I’ll be sure to update this page! :)
