A great piece and a wonderful blog overall. These Nikkatsu films are very difficult to track down in the UK. ANy advice on where to find them would be appreciated.

I actually wrote a little about Suzuki and Nikkatsu on my new blog. Have a look if you get a chance.

Glad you liked it and it’s nice to see other bloggers writing about Nikkatsu films. Kobayashi doesn’t get enough love from English speaking audiences and I’m sure most Americans and Brits have no idea who he is. Obviously this post didn’t generate much interest but I’m glad you found it worthwhile.

My best suggestion would be to get yourself an all-region DVD player if possible so you can watch US & Japanese DVDs. They can be a little pricey but they’re well worth the investment. Hope that helps!
