Love this movie, specially that tender moment in which Raquel seems to recognize the beauty in evolution that separates both her and Tumak from the monkey-like savages in the cave under the tree where they´re hiding; bit of trivia, there is a sample of Maestro Nascimbene´s score -the female chorus bit- in one of the themes for Showgirls… from goddess to goddess…

Sergio - There are some surprisingly tender moments in the movie that you wouldn’t really expect. I love Nascimbene but I can’t remember much about Showgirls so that’s interesting to know.

I love Rachel; Fathom is fun. But her acting skills were nicely parodied in her Seinfeld appearance.

I haven’t seen some of these photos before and um, WOW! I’m still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor.

Chuck - I’ve never seen that Seinfeld episode but now you’ve made really curious about it.

    Matt - Glad you’re enjoying the eye-candy!

Great post. Love those photos of Raquel. I’ve had a crush on her since I can remember. I still love her to this day. Not a great actress by any stretch of the imagination, but so gorgeous to look at.

God, she was beautiful. The most beautiful woman ever. EVER! BY FAR! Raquel Welch, in fact, was miraculously beautiful. Sometimes you look at her and can’t believe - let alone comprehend - what you see.
